PCS Thailand is proud to highlight a meaningful collaboration with our client Chulalongkorn Hospital and our valued partner Diversey, aimed at transforming expired hospital linens into something truly impactful—for both the planet and its paws.
As part of this sustainability-driven initiative, more than 2 tons of used fabric—including medical uniforms, bed sheets, pillowcases, and towels—were meticulously cleaned, disinfected, and repurposed into new textile items. These newly crafted pieces were then donated to Soi Dog Foundation – Thailand and Baan Phak Phing Jaosii Kha, where they now serve as bedding, cleaning cloths, and comfort items for stray dogs and cats in need of care.
This project not only helps reduce textile waste—estimated at over 500 kilograms per month—but also breathes new life into materials that would otherwise be discarded. It’s a powerful example of how operational innovation can support both environmental sustainability and animal welfare.
PCS Thailand extends heartfelt appreciation to the individuals who made this initiative possible:
- Dr. Wiritsorn Wongsrichanalai, Chulalongkorn Hospital
- Siwanat Srimuang and Pawantree Jomthong, Diversey
- Supattana Jearabanyong, PCS Thailand
Together, we’re proving that small shifts in operations can lead to big changes in impact—creating value not just for our clients and partners, but for the communities and lives we touch.
