OCS Australia has published its 2024 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report, showcasing how the business continues to deliver on its commitment to sustainability, inclusion, and ethical leadership.
This year’s report outlines an 8% reduction in gross emissions, a 57% drop in Scope 3 emissions, and an 86% reduction in landfill waste (all figures compared to a 2018 baseline) — achieved while the business continued to grow across key regions.
The report also highlights a new ISO 27001 certification for information security, alongside the renewal of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certifications — demonstrating OCS’s continued focus on high standards and operational integrity.
On the social front, the Australian team supported initiatives including Wheelchairs for Kids (donating 38 wheelchairs to children in Zambia), expanded its wellbeing and safety programmes, and strengthened its commitment to cultural partnerships through ongoing Reflect RAP engagement.
“This work is a credit to our people — not just those delivering services on the ground, but everyone working to embed sustainability into how we operate,” says Gareth Marriott, Managing Director of OCS Australia & New Zealand.
The 2024 report includes results from Midcity and 1M, two businesses that are now fully included in Toitū Net Carbon Zero reporting, further strengthening OCS’s regional ESG credentials.
