OCS has supported The Salvation Army across Australia and Aotearoa for more than a decade, working alongside teams who provide support to people in the communities where we operate.
That support takes different forms across the year. Colleagues volunteer their time, contribute to donation drives and take part in initiatives such as the Red Shield Appeal. These are local efforts, led by teams who see the impact in their own communities.
In Australia, this includes long-standing involvement in Sydney’s The Salvation Army’s Carols in the Domain, where OCS volunteers help prepare Candle Bags that raise funds for homelessness and community programmes.
Back in November, Sandeep Chhikara joined a group of volunteers to pack more than 1,300 Candle Bags ahead of the event.
